WASHINGTON, March 27 -- Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md., has introduced legislation (S. 3560) to amend the Truth in Lending Act "to extend the consumer credit protections provided to members of the Armed Forces and their dependents under title 10, U.S. Code, to all consumers."
The bill was introduced on March 22 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio. It was referred to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
