WASHINGTON, March 27 -- Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., has introduced legislation (S. 3579) to "require the release of certain individuals in the custody of the U.S. because of their risk of exposure during a national emergency."
The bill was introduced on March 25 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Kamala D. Harris, D-Calif. It was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
