WASHINGTON, March 21 -- Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, has introduced legislation (S. 3546) to waive high deductible health plan requirements for health savings accounts.
The bill was introduced on March 19 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Ben Sasse, R-Neb. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
