WASHINGTON, March 21 -- Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, has introduced legislation (S. 3545) to amend the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act "to provide for reciprocal marketing approval of certain drugs, biological products, and devices that are authorized to be lawfully marketed abroad."
The bill was introduced on March 19 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Mike Lee, R-Utah, and Mike Braun, R-Ind. It was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
