WASHINGTON, March 21 -- Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., has introduced legislation (S. 3537) to "require the Secretary of Health and Human Services to maintain a list of the country of origin of all drugs marketed in the U.S., to ban the use of Federal funds for the purchase of drugs manufactured in China."
The bill was introduced on March 19 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., and Ted Cruz, R-Texas. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
