WASHINGTON, Feb. 20 -- The U.S. Department of Justice's Office for Victims of Crime announced that it expects to award up to six cooperative agreements for the assessment of crime victim compensation programs.
The estimated total program funding available was cited as $2.1 million with a ceiling of $350,000 for each award in the program. The agency said the grant was associated with a) income security and social services and b) law, justice and legal services.
