WASHINGTON, Feb. 20 -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that it expects to award up to 65 discretionary grants for addressing emerging health issues including outbreaks of foodborne infections and waterborne diseases.
The estimated total program funding available was cited as $149,098,135. The agency said the grant was associated with health.
