WASHINGTON, Feb. 15 -- Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La., has introduced legislation (S. 3309) to provide for a Public Health Emergency Fund.
The bill was introduced on Feb. 13 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Brian Schatz, D-Hawaii, Marco Rubio, R-Fla., Richard J. Durbin, D-Ill., Tina Smith, D-Minn., and Angus S. King Jr., I-Maine. It was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
