WASHINGTON, Jan. 17 -- Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., has introduced legislation (S. 3212) to "authorize additional monies to the Public Housing Capital Fund of the Department of Housing and Urban Development."
The bill was introduced on Jan. 16 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., Richard J. Durbin, D-Ill., and Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn. It was referred to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
