WASHINGTON, Jan. 17 -- Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La., has introduced legislation (S. 3210) to "require the Secretary of Veterans Affairs, in consultation with the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of Health and Human Services, to develop a clinical practice guideline or guidelines for the treatment of serious mental illness."
The bill was introduced on Jan. 16 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, D-Ariz. It was referred to the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee.
