WASHINGTON, Jan. 17 -- Sen. Edward J. Markey, D-Mass., has introduced legislation (S. 3204) to "direct the Administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency to revise the policy of the Agency to address the threats of climate change, to include considerations of climate change in the strategic plan of the Agency."
The bill was introduced on Jan. 16. It was referred to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee.
