WASHINGTON, Jan. 17 -- Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, has introduced legislation (S. 3199) to amend section 7 of the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 "to ensure appropriate compensation for certain hours of overtime work by border patrol agents."
The bill was introduced on Jan. 15 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, D-Ariz. It was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee.
