WASHINGTON, Jan. 15 -- Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, has introduced legislation (S. 3193) to amend the Controlled Substances Act "to list fentanyl-related substances as schedule I controlled substances."
The bill was introduced on Jan. 14 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va., Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va., and Cindy Hyde-Smith, R-Miss.
