WASHINGTON, Jan. 15 -- Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss., has introduced legislation (S. 3191) to "increase the capacity of research and development programs of the Federal Government that focus on industries of the future."
The bill was introduced on Jan. 14 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Cory Gardner, R-Colo., Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis., and Gary Peters, D-Mich. It was referred to the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee.
