WASHINGTON, Jan. 19 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's Bureau of Reclamation announced that it intends to award a $407,000 grant to the Farmers Conservation Alliance of Hood River, Oregon, for a study to develop water management and conservation activities that will inform strategic planning for the Truckee Carson Irrigation District in the Carson River and Truckee River watersheds.
