WASHINGTON, Jan. 11 -- Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., has introduced legislation (S. 3176) to amend the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 and the U.S.-Israel Strategic Partnership Act of 2014 "to make improvements to certain defense and security assistance provisions and to authorize the appropriations of funds to Israel."
The bill was introduced on Jan. 9 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Christopher Coons, D-Del. It was referred to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
