WASHINGTON, Jan. 11 -- Sen. Catherine Cortez-Masto, D-Nev., has introduced legislation (S. 3175) to amend SAFETEA-LU "to improve the Intelligent Transportation System Program Advisory Committee, to require information and resources for the development of local smart communities, to help establish a 21st century transportation workforce."
The bill was introduced on Jan. 9. It was referred to the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee.
