WASHINGTON, Jan. 11 -- Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., has introduced legislation (S. 3171) to amend the Federal Water Pollution Control Act "to reauthorize the National Estuary Program."
The bill was introduced on Jan. 9 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Bill Cassidy, R-La., and Thomas R. Carper, D-Del. It was referred to the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.
