WASHINGTON, Dec. 13 -- Sen. Michael Bennet, D-Colo., has introduced legislation (S. 3030) to "require the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development to establish a national evictions database."
The bill was introduced on Dec. 12 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, Todd Young, R-Ind., and Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio. It was referred to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
