WASHINGTON, Dec. 9 -- The U.S. Department of Transportation's Federal Transit Administration announced that it expects to award up to 100 discretionary grants for disaster response, recovery and rebuilding activities.
The estimated total program funding available was cited as $10,462,935. The agency said the grant was associated with transportation.
The funding is open to state, county, city, township and Native American tribal governments.
