WASHINGTON, Nov. 8 -- Sen. Tammy Duckworth, D-Ill., has introduced legislation (S. 2821) to amend title 38, U.S. Code, "to direct the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to allow a veteran to receive a full year supply of contraceptive pills, transdermal patches and vaginal rings."
The bill was introduced on Nov. 7 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass. It was referred to the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee.
