WASHINGTON, Nov. 8 -- Sen. Jacky Rosen, D-Nev., has introduced legislation (S. 2816) to "ensure that fixed broadband internet access service assisted by any Federal broadband support program meets a minimum speed threshold."
The bill was introduced on Nov. 7 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Shelley Moore Capito, R-W.Va. It was referred to the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee.
