WASHINGTON, Nov. 8 -- Sen. Patrick J. Leahy, D-Vt., has introduced legislation (S. 2814) to "allow acceleration certificates awarded under the Patents for Humanity Program to be transferable."
The bill was introduced on Nov. 7 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa. It was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
