WASHINGTON, Nov. 8 -- Sen. Rob Portman, R-Ohio, has introduced legislation (S. 2807) to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act "to improve the quality of care furnished by hospice programs under the Medicare program."
The bill was introduced on Nov. 7 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Benjamin Cardin, D-Md. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
