WASHINGTON, Nov. 7 -- Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., has introduced legislation (S. 2806) to amend title 38, U.S. Code, "to expand authority for certain qualifying work-study activities for purposes of the educational assistance programs of the Department of Veterans Affairs to include outreach services provided through congressional offices."
The bill was introduced on Nov. 6 and was co-sponsored by Sen. John Boozman, R-Ark. It was referred to the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee.
