WASHINGTON, Nov. 7 -- Sen. Maria Cantwell, D-Wash., has introduced legislation (S. 2802) to amend the Marine Mammal Protection Act of 1972 "to reauthorize and modify the John H. Prescott Marine Mammal Rescue and Response Grant Program."
The bill was introduced on Nov. 6. It was referred to the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee.
