WASHINGTON, Nov. 11 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Institute of Food and Agriculture announced that it expects to award up to 50 discretionary grants for support for centers of excellence at 1890 land-grant institutions.
The estimated total program funding available was cited as $4.8 million with a ceiling of $1.6 million for each award in the program. The agency said the grant was associated with agriculture.
