WASHINGTON, Sept. 27 -- Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, has introduced legislation (S. 2587) to amend subpart 2 of part B of title IV of the Social Security Act to extend State court funding for child welfare.
The bill was introduced on Sept. 26 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Kamala D. Harris, D-Calif., Mike Rounds, R-S.D., and Margaret Wood Hassan, D-N.H. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
