WASHINGTON, Sept. 19 -- The Government Accountability Office has issued a report on the status of oil and gas bonding for federal lands. The report (GAO-19-615) is titled "Oil and Gas: Bureau of Land Management Should Address Risks from Insufficient Bonds to Reclaim Wells".
The report was sent to Rep. RaulGrijalva, D-Arizona, chairman of the House Natural Resources Committee, and Rep. Alan Lowenthal, D-California, ranking member of the House Natural Resources subcommittee on Energy . . .
