WASHINGTON, Sept. 19 -- Sen. Gary Peters, D-Mich., has introduced legislation (S. 2485) to "prohibit Federal agencies from using Government funds to pay for expenses at lodging establishments that are owned by or employ certain public officials or their relatives."
The bill was introduced on Sept. 17 and has 35 co-sponsors. Co-sponsors include Sens. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., Tom Udall, D-N.M., Tammy Baldwin, D-Wis., Michael Bennet, D-Colo., Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., Sherrod Brow . . .
