WASHINGTON, Sept. 19 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, has introduced legislation (S. 2481) to "facilitate effective research on and treatment of neglected tropical diseases through coordinated domestic and international efforts."
The bill was introduced on Sept. 17 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss. It was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
