WASHINGTON, Sept. 16 -- The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Administration for Children and Families announced that it expects to award up to four discretionary grants for Head Start services in Alamosa, Conejos, Costilla, Delta, Denver, Garfield, Huerfano, Las Animas, Mesa, Moffat and Pueblo counties, Colorado.
The estimated total program funding available was cited as $19,771,691. The agency said the grant was associated with income security and social services.
