WASHINGTON, Sept. 16 -- The U.S. Department of the Interior's U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service announced that it intends to award a $80,000 cooperative agreement to the Longleaf Alliance Inc. of Milton, Florida, for the restoration of the longleaf pine ecosystem on private lands in Alabama.
The agency description of the grant states: "Longleaf pine restoration projects will be implemented in a 3-way partnership with the Longleaf Alliance, Fish and Wildlife Service, and private landown . . .
