Washington, Sept. 13 -- Sen. Martin Heinrich, D-N.M., has introduced legislation (S. 2471) to "give middle-class families access to the maximum Federal Pell Grant, to increase college transparency, and State maintenance of efforts."
The bill was introduced on Sept. 12. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
