WASHINGTON, Sept. 16 -- The U.S. Department of Energy's National Energy Technology Laboratory announced that it expects to award up to two cooperative agreements for the assessment and verification of safe and cost-effective anthropogenic carbon dioxide commercial-scale storage sites, and carbon capture or purification technologies.
