WASHINGTON, Sept. 13 -- The Government Accountability Office has issued a report on the Department of Education's Child Care Access Means Parents in School program. The report (GAO-19-522) is titled "Higher Education: More Information Could Help Student Parents Access Additional Federal Student Aid".
The report was sent to Sen. Patty Murray, D-Washington, ranking member of the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee, and Sen. Tammy Duckworth, D-Illinois, on Aug. 20. . . .
