WASHINGTON, Aug. 2 -- Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, has introduced legislation (S. 2428) to amend title XVIII of the Social Security Act "to provide for certain reforms with respect to Medicare supplemental health insurance policies."
The bill was introduced on Aug. 1 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn. It was referred to the Senate Finance Committee.
