WASHINGTON, Aug. 2 -- Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., has introduced legislation (S. 2411) to amend the Public Health Service Act "to establish a rural health center innovation awards program and a rural health department enhancement program."
The bill was introduced on July 31 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska. It was referred to the Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee.
