WASHINGTON, July 20 -- Sen. Mazie K. Hirono, D-Hawaii, has introduced legislation (S. 2190) to amend the Small Business Act "to ensure that the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands is eligible for certain Small Business Administration programs."
The bill was introduced on July 18. It was referred to the Senate Small Business and Entrepreneurship Committee.
