WASHINGTON, July 20 -- Sen. Jeff Merkley, D-Ore., has introduced legislation (S. 2185) to provide labor standards for certain energy jobs.
The bill was introduced on July 18 and has 10 co-sponsors. Co-sponsors include Sens. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., Richard Blumenthal, D-Conn., Tina Smith, D-Minn., Cory Booker, D-N.J., Kamala D. Harris, D-Calif., Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, Mazie K. Hirono, D-Hawaii, Brian Schatz, D-Hawaii, and Michael Bennet, D-Colo.
