WASHINGTON, July 20 -- Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, has introduced legislation (S. 2174) to "expand the grants authorized under Jennifer's Law and Kristen's Act to include processing of unidentified remains, resolving missing persons cases."
The bill was introduced on July 18 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Kamala D. Harris, D-Calif., Thom Tillis, R-N.C., and Tom Udall, D-N.M. It was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
