WASHINGTON, July 20 -- Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., has introduced legislation (S. 2173) to amend title 14, U.S. Code, "to enhance the land-based unmanned aircraft system program of the Coast Guard."
The bill was introduced on July 18 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Kyrsten Sinema, D-Ariz., and Todd Young, R-Ind. It was referred to the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee.
