WASHINGTON, July 20 - The U.S. Department of the Interior's National Park Service announced that it intends to award a $800,000 cooperative agreement to the Watershed Committee of the Ozarks for the restoration of landscapes and watersheds primarily in the Ozarks and Ouachita region of Arkansas and Missouri.
The agency description of the grant states: "This area of the country includes interior highlands with rivers and streams as well transition areas between central hardwood fores . . .
