WASHINGTON, July 19 -- Sen. Jacky Rosen, D-Nev., has introduced legislation (S. 2154) to "direct the Secretary of Defense to carry out a program to enhance the preparation of students in the Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps for careers in computer science and cybersecurity."
The bill was introduced on July 17 and was co-sponsored by Sens. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., John Cornyn, R-Texas, and Gary Peters, D-Mich. It was referred to the Senate Armed Services Committee.
