WASHINGTON, July 19 -- Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., has introduced legislation (S. 2151) to amend section 287 of the Immigration and Nationality Act "to prohibit immigration officers and agents of the Department of Homeland Security from wearing clothing or other items bearing the word police."
The bill was introduced on July 17. It was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
