WASHINGTON, July 19 -- Sen. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., has introduced legislation (S. 2136) to amend title 38, U.S.Code, "to improve the ability of veterans to receive in-state tuition using educational assistance administered by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs."
The bill was introduced on July 17 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.Va. It was referred to the Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee.
