WASHINGTON, July 19 -- Sen. Tom Udall, D-N.M., has introduced legislation (S. 2135) to "require U.S. Customs and Border Protection to perform an initial health screening on detainees."
The bill was introduced on July 17 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Sherrod Brown, D-Ohio, and Martin Heinrich, D-N.M. It was referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee.
