WASHINGTON, July 19 -- The Government Accountability Office has issued a report on planned improvements to aircraft surveillance. The report (GAO-19-532) is titled "Air Traffic Control: FAA's Analysis of Costs and Benefits Drove Its Plans to Improve Surveillance in U.S. Oceanic Airspace".
The report was sent to Rep. Peter DeFazio, D-Oregon, chairman, and Rep. Sam Graves, R-Missouri, ranking member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, on July 17. Here are excerpt . . .
