WASHINGTON, July 20 - The U.S. Department of the Interior's National Park Service announced that it intends to award a $2,291,000 cooperative agreement to the University of Massachusetts Lowell for the operation of Tsongas Industrial History Center at the Lowell National Historical Park.
The agency description of the grant states: "Lowell National Historical Park's enabling legislation tasks the NPS to interpret the legacy of the Industrial Revolution in Lowell and to act as a catal . . .
