WASHINGTON, May 25 -- Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., has introduced legislation (S. 1673) to "extend the authority for the establishment of a commemorative work in honor of Gold Star Families."
The bill was introduced on May 23 and was co-sponsored by Sen. Robert Menendez, D-N.J. It was referred to the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.
